The Stewardship Forest Certification Program
The Oklahoma Stewardship Forest Program is designed to help Oklahomans manage their forestland for multiple natural resources. It is a program to provide technical assistance to landowners interested in more than one benefit from their land and to recognize landowners who apply stewardship skills to their forestland.
The program is a cooperative effort between OSU NREM Extension, Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry - Forestry Services, your Soil and Water Conservation Districts, Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, and the Natural Resources Conservation Service. For information on becoming a part of the Stewardship Forest Program you can view the information online or contact Kurt Atkinson at (405) 522-6158.
