Research Interests:

My research addresses questions useful to the conservation, management, and restoration of aquatic systems.  Most of my work has involved quantifying fish and crayfish-habitat relations at multiple spatial scales, with an emphasis on instream flows and habitat restoration.  I am particularly interested in assessing the movement and population and fitness responses (especially reproduction) of fishes and their invertebrate prey (primarily crayfish) to changes in habitat conditions due to restoration activities, land-use conversions, and other anthropogenic impacts.
