Research Interests:
My research investigates the effects of forest management on the quantity (low, peak and flood flows) and quality (sediment, nutrients, chemical and bilogical properties) of water from forest watersheds. Most of my research is performed in the Ouachita Mountains region of Oklahoma and Arkansas. Currently my focus is on the following: Soil erosion from forest roads; Using GPS and GIS to determine forest road erosion and sediment delivery at the basin scale; Evaluation of erosion control BMP's on unpaved rural roads. Visit the Research page for more details.
